Mozart’s early piano sonatas and other piano pieces are his earliest compositions.

The first versions of Mozart’s symphonies (K.297, 385, 550) were revised after they had been written. According to recent research, Mozart wrote up to 68 complete works for this type. Mozart’s symphonic works span 24 years from 1764 to 1788. Mozart’s music is still widely performed and loved today, over 200 years after his death. He continued to write music until his death in 1791 at the age of 35. Mozart was a child prodigy and was composing music by the age of five. It is estimated that he composed over 600 pieces of music, including symphonies, concertos, operas, and chamber music. One of the most prolific and well-known composers of all time, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart created a vast catalogue of works.
